Penni's Pan Plan

The Project 10 Pan was created by Laura (aka lollipop26), so this is my version because I don't have 10 things at the moment. Also, I guess you'd say i'm not really hitting 'pan' as they're not all pan/potted items :) I'm doing this because no matter how much I tell myself I don't need new make-up, I STILL purchase it all the time! The idea is that you don't allow yourself to buy any new make-up until you've used up all these products! So, here goes...

First is this ChiChi 'Wall of Shimmer' blush in Rose, which I actually bought a few years ago and used to love but never really use anymore. Rather than throw it out I thought i'd try and get back into it, and I am beginning to like it again. I believe it was created with the idea of only needing one swipe across the face (with blending), as the colours graduate from a highlighter to a darker colour which looks like it could be used as a light contour.

Next is the Covergirl TruBlend pressed powder in #1 Translucent Fair. This is a very popular product, so I don't really need to explain much about it! I've had it for a while and just feel that I need to use it up!

Next is the Almay one coat dial up mascara in black. The idea of the product is that you can 'dial it up' to select which effect you want. 1 is natural, 2 defined and 3 like an all out fully defined curled look. I don't mind the mascara, but it is really hard to remove at night!

Next product is my favourite illuminiser from Bloom, which is in a stick form. It is super blendable and really convenient due to the packaging. It gives the best glow i've found from any product, and I use it all the time. Once it's been completely used in the stick i'll probably transfer it into another container to get every last bit out of it!

Next up is my Physicians Formula powder palette multicoloured highlighter. So, most people know that green colours eliminate red, yellow eliminates purples, etc. The idea of this powder is by combining all the into one powder, you could have a flawless face. This is actually one of my favourite products that I used every day, and will repurchase once I use it all up!

Up next is the Revlon Photoready foundation in shade #3 shell, which has spf 20. This is a really popular product, which has these illuminating pigments, which assist to "bend and reflect light to erase every flaw". It is also quite a full coverage foundation, meaning you do get a very good effect from the product.

Next is the Rimmel Special Eyes duo eyeshadow in #321 Walnut Pearls, which promises a crease free effect which lasts for 8 hours and can be used wet or dry. I've again had this product for quite some time, and really need to use it up! The lighter colour does give off nice colour, but the brown doesn't actually give off the same colour as in the pan. I've also found that it doesn't actually last for 8 hours either, which is really a shame. I hope I don't sound like i'm bagging out the product, these are just my experiences.

Now, last product! This is actually technically two, but of the same, so i'm counting it as 1! It's the Australis make-up finishing spritz, which promises to set make-up for all day wear, and has aloe vera and rose water. I've got it in the 50mL and the 150mL sizes, which i'm running low on both! I actually love this product, I sometimes use it just to spray on my face even if I don't have make-up on, as it makes your skin feel very soft and moisturised. I'll be buying this again definitely.

Thanks for reading!

These are a few of my favourite things...

A lot of these things are a bit quirky, I don't care. I love them and have memories attached to each of them. So I thought i'd share them. Enjoy, maybe you'll find something new that you love too. Note: these are in a ROUGH order of most favourite down, and this was really really REALLY hard, seriously, they all come in very close. I love them all, so...

Jack Johnson - Go On  (fun fact, he wrote this in Brisbane!! ♥ xx++)

Jack Johnson - Belle/Banana Pancakes (MUST be the live French encore version. seriously, you try & tell me that especially from 1:37 - 1:57, and 3:57 onwards, you don't get a smile on your face?)

Foster the People - Pumped up Kicks (not the original film clip, but I love it, guess you could say it sums up me a bit, if that makes sense)

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home (original film clip ♥ )

Jakatta ft Seal - My Vision (it reminds me of my yearly holiday to our place at the coast ♥ )

Empire of the Sun - Walking on a Dream (seriously, one of the best pairings of two great Aus artists)

The xx - Crystalised (i bet you'll fall in love with it)

The Go! Team - Huddle Formation (the song that always reminds me of the best friend that I lost to another
girl)

Empire of the Sun - We Are The People

Architecture in Helsinki - Contact High (yeah, I get that the film clip is a bit racy, if you don't like that, just close your eyes & listen)

Flight Facilities - Crave You (ft Giselle) (such a cute filmclip and good lazy day song)

Architecture in Helsinki - Heart it Races (I don't care if people think it's weird, I still love it!)

Muscles - Ice Cream (awesome song, but the acoustic version is also really good, also this is not the original film clip FYI)

Emiliana Torrini - Jungle Drum (check out some of the makeup in that film clip, so good!)

Cut Copy - Time Stands Still (not original film clip)

MGMT - Kids (i actually get really stressed out by this film clip because of how sad the poor little boy is!)

OK, so this was only a few of my favourites, but, you've had an insight, I know some people think that I'm a bit of a hippy. Don't care.

Do you what YOU do, and love what you do.
